Fonden for Socialt Ansvar

At Fonden for Socialt Ansvar (the Foundation for Social Responsibility) we work with voluntary social work in many ways. We use innovative methods and wish to renew our field in order to help vulnerable individuals and groups in the Danish society.

At the Foundation for Social Responsibility we aim to ensure that voluntary social work takes over when the government or local authorities have not prioritized it or have not had the funds to do what is necessary. Furthermore, we wish to take on a bigger and more structural problem regarding voluntary social work: Many valuable organizations and initiatives across the country are to small and thus, cannot survive in the challenging industry. Initiatives are quenched because they lack the resources, energy and volume necessary to produce the documentation that is needed in order to achieve financial sustainability.

With us, small efforts have a big effect

he Foundation for Social Responsibility is an umbrella organisation. As such, we have a joint administration, which enables us to create synergies and achieve a great deal of advantages. The starting point of our work is the idea that one rent and one roof can house many initiatives. This means, that we offer a unique structure, where our funds are used for what is important - and not on administration, bureaucracy and management. It is our belief that a long-term effort is the best investment for both individuals and society.
